Service Design

Service Design, as I see it, is the art of examining an organization's resources, systems, and processes to understand how it works and create a blueprint to implement, sustain, and evolve services. Its goal is to make services desirable, enjoyable, effective, and efficient for providers, consumers, and society. Unlike UX design, Service Design is not limited to digital interfaces and can span across multiple channels. When done well, it's like running a highly constructive group therapy session where stakeholders build symbiotic relationships and unify towards the common goal of producing great service experiences.
